In the use of, and purchasing from our website, you agree to all the policies and terms of use, stated on this page.

Your use of this website and any dispute arising out of such use of the website is subject to the laws of South Africa. Unauthorised use of this website may give rise to a claim for damages and/or be a criminal offence.

The headings used on this page are provided for convenience only, and will not limit or affect these terms.

ACCURACY OF INFORMATION

We do our best to ensure that information on our website is complete, accurate and current. Despite our efforts, however, information may occasionally be inaccurate, incomplete or out of date. All specifications, products, descriptions and prices of products are subject to change at any time without notice. We make all reasonable efforts to accurately display our products, images may occasionally vary from the actually product.

Where our price on this website differs from our store price, the store price will always take preference.

The inclusion of any products or services on the website at a particular time does not imply or warrant that these products or services will be available at any time. We reserve the right to discontinue or remove any product or service at any time.

TERMS OF SALE

By placing an order with us, you are (i) offering to purchase a product, and (ii) representing that all information you provide us in connection with such order is true and accurate and you are an authorised user of the payment method provided. The receipt by you of an order confirmation does not constitute our acceptance of an order. We retain the right to, within reason; refuse any order request made by you.

Prior to our acceptance of an order, verification of information may be required. We reserve the right at any time after receipt of your order to accept, modify or decline your order, or any portion thereof, even after your receipt of an order confirmation from us, for any reason whatsoever. We reserve the right to limit the number of items ordered and to refuse service to you without prior notification. In the event that an item lists an incorrect price, either due to typographical or other error, we shall have the right to refuse or cancel any such order placed for the incorrect price, regardless of whether the order is being or has been processed. If payment has already been made or if your account has already been charged for the purchase and the order is cancelled, we will attempt to notify you on the contact details provided at purchase, and reimburse accordingly.

PAYMENTS

We have decided to allow direct payments via EFT, along with credit card payments and other services facilitated by PayFast. By making a purchase using these services, you are agreeing to adhere to PayFast’s terms of use and policies.

Since we are relying on services not under our control, such as Financial Institutions, Courier Services and PayFast, we will not be held liable for any errors and delays caused by the use of such services.

Where any discrepancies or errors arise, we will ensure that you are notified thereof and arrangements will be made thereafter.

Once an order is placed, we reserve the right to cancel or withhold any such order where payment is still outstanding after 72hrs.

We do not accept any form of lay-by on purchases made on our website. For information on our 3-Month Terms purchase on firearms, contact the sales department at one of our stores.

RETURNS AND EXCHANGES

We warrant that all products that leave our store will be free of defects at the time of shipping. These products are all subject to the manufacturers warranties.

All returns repairs and exchanges will be handled on a case by case basis by our in-store personnel and management in correspondence with the manufacturer or its official distributing agent to determine whether the product can be honoured under the terms of warranty. If not, any costs involved in the repair or replacement, including delivery, will be for your account.

If you are not satisfied with the product you have received, and wish to return the product, this must be done within 7 (seven) days from the date of delivery. All products are expected to be returned in their original condition and packaging. Target Line may charge a handling fee at our discretion upon acceptance of the returned product.

SHIPPING POLICY

We charge a flat-rate of R200 for local shipping of small parcels that are within certain weight and volume limits. Should your parcel be outside these limits, your shipping price will be adjusted accordingly. We will notify you thereof as soon as possible so that further arrangements can be made.

When more than one item is purchased to be shipped, a quote will be requested from our selected courier services. If the quote is less than our flat-rate of R200, then the flat-rate of R200 will still be charged. If an order can’t be covered by our flat-rate, a further payment may be requested before the order can be shipped.

Payment will not be made upfront for shipping of licensed items such as firearms, ammunition, propellant, and heavy/large items such as safes. These items will be quoted on a case by case basis, and you will be contacted either after purchase or after the license is supplied.

Due to the laws of South Africa only licensed firearm courier services may transport licensed products such as firearms, ammunition and propellant.

When standard shipping is selected, economy service will be used. We are not liable for any delays or damages caused in shipping. If you want to use a different service, such as overnight, notify us so arrangements can be made and you will be quoted separately.

FIREARM POLICY

Releasing of all firearms purchased online, will only be processed once a valid license for the firearm has been acquired.  Upon purchase, you will be contacted in order to arrange the relevant documentation.
